    Bob Borzak

    After over 25 years of active leadership in the East Nashville community, I have decided to run for Metro Council in District 6.

    Like you, I have seen East Nashville undergo tremendous changes in recent years. Now more than ever, careful planning and enlightened leadership are essential to maintain the character of this vibrant and historic community. As your District 6 Councilman, I will strive to insure positive growth while preserving the unique qualities that make East Nashville a special place to live and work.

    I do not view this important position as a part-time job. Because of my experience in dealing with complex neighborhood issues, I know that this position demands more than that. Therefore, if elected, I pledge to make serving this community on the Metro Council a FULL-TIME commitment.

    I believe I am uniquely qualified amongst this field of candidates in that I already have a proven track record of public service and active leadership in the East Nashville community for over 25 years. If elected, I pledge to become even more effective as your Metro Council representative. I’m asking for your vote on August 4 to help me put my experience to work for you.
